MONSTER TRUCKS

MONSTER TRUCK TIME! Rocky Mountain Raceway is the BEST place to watch them. Mike loves this. He is worse than the kids. Every year we manage to go to one of the shows. Last year we hit 2 of them. The kids were so excited. Kalub decided he wanted to go with us, because he has never been to the monster trucks before.
Kalub also enjoyed people watching. WOW!! You get all kinds at an event like that!

Austin with Vintage Bigfoot

Vintage Bigfoot!! Mike loves Bigfoot!! He is a fan on Facebook of Bigfoot and Midwest 4Wheel Drive Center. He actually talks to these people on facebook! (I think this picture looks like a toy truck, but it is not!)

After the show was over, we went to the pits. This is to look at all the trucks up close and get autographs from the drivers. Maddie really wanted her picture taken with Amber Walker, who drives Ms. Bigfoot, but Mike talked to her so much that the line had already moved on. I told you Mike loves it more than the kids!

Kalub with the Maverik Monster Trakker

The only autographs the kids got was from Bigfoot, Ms. Bigfoot and the Monster Tracker. And yes, Mike did get his new Bigfoot poster signed by both Amber Walker and Dan Runte. We happen to know the Crew Chief of the Monster Trakker, so we spent a while talking to that crew and their spouses that had spent the weekend at the track.

Maddie with the Monster Trakker. Notice that the letters glow in the dark!!

This was a great day spent together and we love having Austin and Maddie's friends come along for the ride. Down side...Way too late to be out on a worknight.
